BRINGING BIG BUSINESS BENEFITS TO SMALL - MID SIZED EMPLOYERS
Account Executive
Dan joined Solid Benefits Group in 2014, bringing a diverse background of healthcare industry experience. He is a licensed producer for both Life & Accident and Health or Sickness Insurance, specializing in well-rounded employee benefits plans for small to mid-size companies.
Previously, Dan was a research staff employee at Yale University for 3 years, helping cancer patients overcome their illnesses and go on to live as happy, healthy survivors. Finding that high medical bills were a major cause of distress, he quickly realized how detrimental poor insurance can be. It was then that he decided he could have a greater impact on this population by helping them to prepare financially BEFORE diagnosis. This experience is what drives him to provide top-notch services to his clients, making sure that their employees are protected.
Involvement in the community is a high priority for Dan. Each summer he is a volunteer counselor at Camp Rising Sun, a week long summer camp for kids that have or had cancer. Dan is also an assistant varsity baseball coach at St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg. Other organizations he has volunteered for include NEADS, the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center, Open Sky Community Services (Formerly Alternatives Unlimited) and Ginny’s Helping Hand, Inc.
